Dearest Rocky OMCs are you a mind reader?
Auntie was just sitting here working/thinking about next week's Happy Tuesday and up popped your ginger self and Woody Woodpecker. I have not seen a yellow-bellied sapsucker in a very long time. Tell Mom the video is purrfect.
Love and many thank yous
Your devoted Auntie HiC
Woody the yellow-bellied sap-sucker is a new to us and simply stunning. Please tell Rocky and family thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteWe LOVE to see Rocky doing so well! He's very handsome!
ReplyDeletewoody is a super name... it fits super perfectly...
ReplyDeleteOh what a cat life, enjoy!
ReplyDeleteI guess waking up to see a bird is an okay thing for a cat. We would not mind being woken up for a squirrel or rabbit. You can go back to your nap now.
ReplyDeleteI think that was a terrific video. Look how bright red his head and his front throat or. They pass through our yard and when they do I get so excited because it's just a glimpse for maybe a day.
ReplyDeleteThat is a pretty bird. He looks similar to our spotted woodpeckers.
ReplyDeletei love Woody and have my whole life. I can even draw him.. somewhat, ha ha. Rocky you are looking soooo handsome and happy. Beau does that in the back yard, lays with body in sun and head in shade. just like you are doing. Happy Tuesday and yes, that video is perfect and woody is so cute
ReplyDeleteRocky you are a smart and beautiful kitty—living a regal life.
ReplyDeleteWoody made for purrfect kitty bird TV.

ReplyDeleteYou're most handsome in your sunpuddle. That bird is most beautiful too. Woody is a good name.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Scritches to you and a big hug to your Auntie. ♥
We enjoyed a few visits from Yellow-Bellied Sapsuckers in Missouri. Have not seen them here. Thoroughly enjoyed the video, Rocky! I bet you are glad she woke you up to see it in the real.

What a beautiful woodpecker... the colors are wonderful.
ReplyDeleteWe have the great spotted woodpecker and the black woodpecker in the forest. The great spotted woodpecker also comes to the birdhouse when there is a lot of snow.
Thanks for the video and the link. Viola sends you a happy greeting
Dear Rocky, we've never seen those kind of birds around here, but Woody sure is pretty. And of COURSE you're laying with your eyes out of the sun. Isn't that what everyone does?? XOX Xena and my gang
ReplyDeleteYou are a cutie Rocky. Not a fan of the sapsucker. One of them destroyed one of our pussy willow trees. XO
ReplyDeleteRocky! Thank you. Mom nor I have ever seen one. I think the video was great! I didn't have to pay attention at all to the screen. It just wasn't a distraction. You are such a good by bring us so much to enjoy. And boy, are you handsome or WHAT!
