It’s a chilly morning here in southwest Colorado, & we had a dusting of snow overnight (May 5)
I’m not a fan of snow in May, so I’m laying low until it warms up! 😹
Do you see me?
We’re happy to announce that we have 3 broadtailed hummingbirds; 2 males & 1 female. Yes, the males have been fighting each other for the female, & she’s loving it❣️
What shall we name this jeweled beauty?
Brrrrrr & ❤️Rocky
Dearest Rocky
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Rocky you are the smartest kitty in the RV.
You found the purrfect spot to hide from OLD man Winter.
I love your cuddly blankie a lot.
The Lady broad tail is absolutely Pretty and I think that is a great name just like the song says.

Returning to the heat & humidity in GA is always a shock to the system. 😉

ReplyDeleteIt’s been HOT in GA. My friends there are jealous. 😹
DeleteTime for snow to be over!

DeleteThat's funny that they're having snow in colorado, and it should be time for Blackberry Winter here. But with this strange weather all we are having is cool weather and I'm still happy to have my hummingbirds.
ReplyDeleteAlways happy to have hummers❣️
DeleteDearest Cecilia,
ReplyDeleteGreat update on Rocky and Kat and Rocky sure knows how to get warm(er)!
Hummingbird are the ballerinas of the birds — so elegant and hyper.
Hugs,
Mariette + Kitties
Yes, ballerinas! That’s beautiful❣️
DeleteKeeping warm when there is snow on the ground is the smart thing. You two are most smart.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Hugs to Auntie C. ♥
I do like to be cozy❣️
DeleteBrrrrrrr! Pretty site to settle in. I spotted that little ginger ear right away♥
ReplyDeleteYou really are a smart one! Why travel all that way to be cold, just snug up and keep warm. That is such a pretty hummer!
ReplyDeleteThose hummers are probably thankful to have someplace to find food when it's so cold outside.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that hummers liked the colder temps! What a nice blankie to keep you warm, Rocky!
ReplyDeleteHummers are migrating back north. Some arrive while it’s still cold! Happy we’re here to feed them, & there are full-time campers who feed them until they migrate south.. 😻
DeleteOh dear ~ not snow ~ sigh ~ Rocky ~ you are snuggly warm ~ sweet photo ~ Lovely video of the hummers ~
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Cecilia and Angel Madi ~

It’s a pleasant change from the miserable heat in GA.
DeleteIt's been chilly here in the NM high desert the past couple of nights too. Luckily, we haven't had any snow!
ReplyDeleteWe also think "Lady Broad Tail" is a beautiful name!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny(and Mama Beth)
Lady Broad Tail it is! ❤️
DeleteI SEE you in that blankie! There's Ginger sticking out! And Lady Broadtail...love the song she is singing! She knows she is pretty and rejoices in it!!
ReplyDeleteWould you like share my blankie with me?😻❤️
DeleteWe wouldn't mind a little now in May or June or July or August - when it gets way too hot for us furballs.
ReplyDeleteWoos - Misty and Timber
Agree! Heading back toGA in June will be miserable! 🥵
DeleteBrrr! That is chilly. XO
ReplyDelete😻
DeleteYou're getting snow and we have to use the A/C as it's getting close to the 90s here. It would be nice if it could all even out.
ReplyDeleteNot looking forward to the GA heat/humidity in June. 🥵
DeleteDoloris is frigid.
DeleteYes!!!
DeleteOh my, snow in May! It sure looks pretty! So glad you enjoy it. I love snow too. That photo under the blankets, beyond adorable! Love the fact that you have hummingbirds and that was a cute video.
