Thank you to our Hostess

Here is an drone's eye view

BTW I always see lots of dogs walking their humans.

Mom rec'd the below reply from Auntie Kelly RE: Ducks
"I think the ducks belonged to the residences next door to the hotel. They followed us into the lobby when we arrived at Highlander Hotel in Newtonmore, Inverness Shire. I did not see them again. We had to leave very early the next morning to catch the train from Fort William to Mallaig(we went across the Glennfinnan Viaduct featured in Harry Potter movies)."

Oh my word, your EMW yields beauty... And eek, I passed Newtonmore last week. Your friends are here at just about the right time as we've had some actual decent weather! YAM xx

  2. wonderful! and we love the photos and videos from a drone, a super new perspective to watch things... our mama wants one too, but our dad said she is even dangerous enough with maneuvering a car, the air space would become a dangerous place...

  3. Wooten Park looks pretty cool, Cecilia. Mom and dad went hiking at Nockamixon State Park near here and said it was okay. They really miss the challenging hikes down in western NC, what dad calls "real" hiking.

  4. I would love to walk Beau at this beautiful place. I am smiling because yesterday and day before I watched all day, the 3 trees being taken down in the back yard of one of the houses across the street and did a lot of fussing about removing them. the smiles is because I said to Bob, I wish I had a drone, so I could see just what they are doing.

  6. I'd say that I wish ducks would follow me around, but I'm pretty sure the girls wouldn't be amused.

  8. That's a GORGEOUS spot for a walk at any time of the day! And not so "small", either!

  9. I looks like a nice place to walk through with or without a dog. We usually walk several miles and people make fun of us as they see us all over the place walking.

  11. Beautiful park for EMWs. We had some pretty places to walk in Missouri. Haven't really found something like that here. Too many bugs and too much humidity!
    Good Morning!

  14. I enjoyed seeing the ducks walking through. They usually have the right of way wherever they are at and when they choose to visit a Hotel. I have even seen police many times stopping traffic so they can get across the street.

  19. I would imagine it's a dog's paradise.

It sounds like the ducks know their way around and go where they wish and no one bothers them. At least, I hope so.
