To hot to stick the neck out. ha ha.. great quote and that turtle is adorable.. Yam is a turtle for sure. I have become the turtle that doesn't put its neck out, content to draw inside and sit in the safety of the home shell

ReplyDeleteI love those garden turtles! They're such ancient, fascinating creatures. I actually have a turtle tattoo on one shoulder to remind me of a quote I read decades ago: "Be like the turtle, at ease in your own shell."

ReplyDeleteA turtle post and Spark! I am not really good at sticking my neck out anymore. I just need a turtle quote about not rocking the boat! Cute turtles in your photos. We had a turtle lay eggs in our landscaping a year ago. We watched her, it was fascinating.

Gosh I remember the real garden turtles in mother's large tomato patch. They used to make her so MAD! ( in Salem VA.)
