Recently on an EMW I took 'a road less traveled'...it was a good decision....
Look at the lovely sun beams.
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;
Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,
And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.
I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.
Lovely photo. Frost's poem is not as widely known in the UK as in the USA, where I had the impression that every school pupil learned it.

A good decision, though in another light it might not have seemed so grand. A lovely picture of a small moment that brings delight and saved forever.

That is a nice serene view, and a lovely poem.
ReplyDeleteRobert Frost poem takes me back decades from when I was in school and had to read his poems. There were some beautiful ones. Just like this photo. And up here our beauty is 3 days of sprinkles and drizzles and a dab of rain. We might be up to about 2 inches now.
