Thankful Thursday on Halloween

Thankful Thursday hosted by

I AM THANKFUL FOR MY VERY FRIENDLY NEIGHBORHOOD AND ALL THE PEEPS AND PUPS I SEE ON MY WALKS.

We've had some lovely weather over the last week or so.

I'm thankful for all the good walks some EMW some MAW (mid  afternoon walks)

One MAW was at about 3:30 I took 1/2 of my walk with Westie Rory and her mom.

They live on my street about 1/2 block from my house.
I never see them on my EMW...Rory aka Princess likes to sleep in.
After walking a bit with Rory she and her mom, she and her mom
reached their home.

************

Behind me (no photos) I saw Riggs, the Golden Retriever who lives on my
cul-de-sac.  Riggs was large and in charge of walking his Mom and his baby six month old brother.  His Mom and I had a nice chat.  He takes this responsibility very seriously.  He walked between me and the stroller.  He was happy to let me pet his silky golden furs and take a peep at his brother.  He stay very close to the stroller.  No way to get a good photo of Riggs without getting baby brother in the photo.
FYI his baby brother was born on  my husband's bday, 4/27/24.

**********

As I was on my way home, along comes another Golden Retriever, Ollie. I've never seen him before. Not fully grown yet and still learning manners 101.  His Dad was worried he would jump on me so they  moved over to the side so I could pass.  I did find out Ollie is still a puppy, I might add he is  A BIG ONE. me. I look forward to watching him grow.

Oh and I also met a very skinny guy who was lurking in the bushes giving me a red eyed stare.

I hope you can hear the chimes...only 15 seconds turn up your volume
the are quite pretty

All of these wonderful encounters happened in about 30 minutes!!

***************
This home is across the street from us.
I walked to the curb to take a photo of the decorations...when
lo and behold...I got a bonus, their Doodle in the window (lower left window) watching.
All of the Halloween decorations have lights at night.
However, with the street lights it is hard to get a great photo.

Fun decorations seen on EMW
Not sure why this cow is hanging from a space ship but it made me giggle

  5. Loving all the Halloween decorations. My favorite pictures of that sweet pup, Rory. Before I had Gibbs I had a Westie named Duke. He was my all time favorite dog ever.

  9. Happy Howloween! We love our early morning walks before the sun comes up as they are so peaceful and we rarely see anyone. It is really nice and we are a very early morning family. There aren't many decorations out this year, but we have seen a few and some of them are pretty good.
