Guess what we got for Christmas?!?
A new roof, ha! 😹
Santa sent his elves to our house to install a new roof a few days before Christmas.
Boy was it loud! The Peeps took us out to the RV to escape all the commotion.
We kept our eyes on those elves, and they were busy as bees.
Excuse the dirty RV window.

OMCs thank goodness your new roof was installed before
St Nick and his Reindeer landed up on the roof top with the clomping of
28 hooves.
We enjoyed watching, but certainly happy that’s over! 😹
ReplyDeleteSince I hate heights, I would never be a roofer.

ReplyDeleteGracious, that's quite the team! When we had our roof replaced there were precisely three men... which might explain why it took so many months... YAM xx
Wow, that was a lot of roofers up there in one go! At least they got on with it, and it gave you good TV to watch.
ReplyDeleteThose guys are workin' it! How nice to have a brand new roof!
ReplyDeleteHoofs on the Roofs .... let's all sing a long ...
ReplyDeleteWhat a crowd that was on the roof. Good thing you kitties were safe out in the rv. They definitely wanted to make sure that the roof was solid because who wants Santa to fall through a hole.
ReplyDeleteWow, look at those guys go. When I had a new roof put on my house they did it while I was at work and were almost done by the time I got home.
ReplyDeleteI can confirm that it is incredibly loud tearing off an old roof... tiles are worse. Putting the new roof on isn't quite as bad but it's loud too. Listened to it twice in 50 years. Very nice you had a nice place to sit and watch!
ReplyDeleteHow lucky to have the RV to hang out in while those men made such noise on the roof.
ReplyDeleteWe have about five years before we need a new roof. That will be the 30 year mark. I've not heard how noisy this is. Kitties don't like noise and strangers.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Awww Mondays Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Awww Monday and week. Love and hugs my friend. ♥
Yep ~ it is a noisy event ~ but now you are cozy and warm ~ be well ~
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Cecilia and Angel Madi ~ ^_^
Happy New Year to all ~

That is a very dangerous job, but those workers all seem to do it with such ease. Glad Santa and his reindeer were able to arrive safely

Whew...we bet it was really loud! We are glad you kitties could be evacuated to the RV(we use our RV for the same kind of things)!

Wow, a new roof, how great is that! Your peeps are so sweet and kind to get you out of the racket. We had a bad hailstorm several years ago and had to have the roof done too. I still remember how loud it was. Happy New Year to you sweet people and kitties. Thanks for commenting and leaving that great story by the way. I winced and chuckled all the way through it. Sending hugs! xx
ReplyDeleteI'm sure glad you all survived all that loud hammering and banging, it's quite scary!
ReplyDeleteHow unsettling
ReplyDeleteThat roof sure is steep. We got a new one last year, but the noise wasn't too bad...or maybe we've just forgotten! XOX Xena and Lucy and Chia
