Honoring Marg, Heaven's new Animal caregiver

Marg was one of the very first animal bloggers I met.  I would like to share a few memories I have of Marg and how she always was first in line to pawticipate in all the wild and crazy things we did in Blogville.  She loved  all creatures great and small.  She had a special bond with her two Donkeys Smoke and Joe.  Smoke graciously agreed to let Angels Madi and Raz ride on his back in February 2014 for the Valentine's day Parade.

Joe and Angel Madi's alter ego Buttons the Clown also joined the parade.

Marg also fitted Madi with her very first hat, The pink Chef  hat, you see by the comments we leave on your blog seen here.

Blogville is saddened by another loss of a worthy individual. Although I never got to know Marg, I certainly have been aware of her presence and know how valuable she has been to the network of pet bloggers. May she rest in a well-earned peace. YAM xx

  2. ditto what Yam says, I too never met her and now that I see the donkeys I wish I had. It is sad when someone like Marg leaves this world, for the critters she leaves behind that she would have cared for.... we need more Margs

  3. I was sad when Marg stopped blogging, but much sadder that she has passed on. She was a wonderful friend to so many and loved her menagerie of pets.

  5. Such fun memories and cute photos! You're so right ... Marg was always up for any and every "event", joining in and loving it. A legend around the pet world ... kinda think she'll quickly become a legend up beyond the rainbow, too!

  7. I appreciate that all of you are posting about Marg today. I did not know of her or her blog until now. Anyone who loves animals like she must have has a kind and loving heart. And your sweet angel got to visit some of her many animals with a picture to remind you for the future. Do hope you two are continuing to feel better.

  8. I'd followed Marg's blog for years and so missed her posts when she had to stop. She was an icon in the blogging world, her love of animals and kind heart shining through every entry. I hope her spirit is free now, reunited with all the beloved souls who went before her. ♥

  12. I woke up to this news this morning...and it left me feeling very sad. I never met Marg in person but I will always remember her as a kind and loving woman...whose love for animals was second to none. Heaven has gained a special animal caretaker and I hope my furbabies who are there seek her out for love and comfort.

  14. I was sad when Marg stopped blogging as well. She and I used to call one another each Sunday a few years after I started helping Katie and Admiral blog. She was one of the most caring lady for animals I have ever known. I am so sorry she went to the Bridge, and as many have said..I know she was greeted well.

  16. I didn't know Marg and from the comments here and your words about Marg, I think I missed knowing a very kind animal lover and a horse person. I am a lover of horses and donkeys. A sweet tribute to a woman who is going to be missed greatly.

  18. We know that Marg was a great friend of our Mom's. Smoke and Joe always kept us entertained as did the kitties, especially Two Two when she would wear her Christmas dress. Marg loved her babies and now she is reunited with them as their newest Angel Mom.
