January 5th I posted this... Blue Marlin Statue
at Big Rock Landing in Morehead City
While going thru my December folder on January 12, I found this one. I think I was on the other side ot the statue trying to snap the sun thru the opening at the base, but the angle got a great view of the mouth of the statue.
The statue makes us hungry‼️
ReplyDeleteThat is a good silhouette photo of the statue.
ReplyDeleteHe looks more aggressive with his open mouth.
ReplyDeleteThe Blue Marlin statue is truly a work of art. You got some wonderful photos with your Mind's Eye view. The water view is so calming.
ReplyDeleteThat made for a very cool silhouette of the statue.
ReplyDeleteAn impressive statue. And even more impressive sky. Ours might be that blue this week when it's-9°. We're going to try to stay in and more. And I'll look back at these pictures and try to think warm warm warm.
ReplyDeleteI really like the statue silhouetted against the sun; very cool!

I love silhouettes, this is beauiful
ReplyDeleteNice accidental capture.
ReplyDeleteWe love both views of that statue. Too bad the sun didn't cooperate and get in the right position for you.
ReplyDeleteLovely to see those still waters as the finale. Great pictures and shows there is always another angle to things.

I absolutely must make Raleigh a bucket list place to go. I know how often I say it, but...I mean it.
ReplyDeleteI like them both but the second one could be a reward winner.
ReplyDeleteThat silhouette shot is amazing - bravo to the photographer.
