Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
This week's photo challenge
While taking a walk in the Zoo,
I heard the big Cats mew.
When I stopped, to gaze at the magnificent pride
There was Leo walking toward the fence.
My heart swelled with 'pride'.
I was his handler when he was a cub...
Did he remember me??!!
The answer was yes.
He softly mewed our special greeting.
I walked closer he gave me a hug.
🦁
PS
My ginger Nephew aka Rocky, proprietor of the newly established Catnip Lounge would like for all of our K9 friends to know he has added Raw hide chews to the menu!!!
I commend his marketing skills too!!
that was so sweet... how great that animals remember and never furget good things...

ReplyDeleteWhat a fun poem. But you won't see me getting that close to a lion you can bet. Sounds like Rocky is really starting up a good business. Precious used to like the miniature Milk Bone biscuits.
