HAPPY TUESDAY BRYAN'S EYE SURGERY WENT VERY WELL YESTERDAY. SURGERY STARTED 45 MINUTES ✌✌EARLY AND IT ONLY TOOK 15 MINTUES👍👍 NOT 45. HE CAME HOME WITH A GUAZE PATCH OVER HIS EYE AND A PLASTIC SHIELD. SO WE DON'T KNOW WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE. DR. LABER SAID IT WOULD LOOK ROUGH FOR A WHILE.
NO LIFTING OR BENDING AT WAIST FOR A FEW DAYS AT LEAST.
HE HAS A POST OP TODAY AT 7:50 AM. HOPEFULLY IT LOOKS VERY GOOD TO THE DOCTOR.
THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR VERY PAWSITIVE THOUGHTS

FRIDAY JUNE 6 WAS NATIONAL DONUT DAY
Duck Donuts...all donuts are white inside. While you wait they cook them then decorate just as you selected. We ordered cookies and cream with chocolate icing on it, a coffee icing with powder sugar and a confetti. They smell so good and a coupon for a free cinnamon on Nat'l donut day June 6.
What a fun decor and I loved the logo

ReplyDeleteOh crikey... I suspect there is addiction potential there!!! YAM xx
I'm pretty sure that I need a Duck Donuts in my area. I haven't had a donut in such a long time.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that Bryans surgery went well yesterday. Hope the post op appointment goes just as well
... no peeking ... Here's to a "Hi-C" speedy recovery to da Dad! Then you'll be able to lift all those yum Duck Donuts all the way up from down on the table to ... and indulge to your hearts content!
ReplyDeleteThe restaurant itself is beautiful to see as are the fresh and hot donuts. great idea! it looks so cozy and a great place to meet for coffee and donuts. Happy Dance on the quick surgery and prayers for the post op to be perfect today. my first time hearing of the triangle. interesting. this flipped me back to my childhood and my childrens childhood. fresh hot donuts cooked in the kitchen, all that was needed was a tin of ready to bake cookies. they were 10 cents in my childhood and 25 in my kids. take a pill bottle and cut a donut hole, then fry the holes and the donuts and sprinkles with sugar of choice. when my boys were teens I had to cook 2 of the containers, one for each of them
ReplyDeleteGood news to hear the surgery went so quickly and well. We certainly pray for a good finish up when it's over. It's scary to think about somebody missing with your eyeballs isn't it. We know your angel was watching over both of you yesterday. This looks like a fun place to go, cheerful and colorful, and probably rather tasty.
ReplyDeleteIt's nice when everything goes faster than planned, not much time to worry. Hopefully the eye will heal well and he can get back to normal life soon. That donut place looks like so much fun and such good looking ones too.
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad that Bryan's eye surgery went well. Lots of healing energy from me! 💕🙏
ReplyDeleteDuck Donuts! Good thing we don't have one here. Lol. Well, they'd have to make a sugar, yeast, and dairy-free one for me, and I'm pretty sure such a thing is impossible. 😁
That's great that his surgery was early and didn't take very long. I'm sure you were worried about your sweet husband. Good luck today at the Dr. office. Duck Donuts does should like a place I don't need to know about either.
ReplyDeleteI am glad Bryan's eye surgery went well and was quickly over. I hope the post op looks good.
ReplyDeleteThose donuts certainly look more than good!
Thank heavens that's over for Bryan!!!! And what a delicious "reward" for enduring all that.
ReplyDeleteIt's good to hear the surgery went well for Bryan and hope the post op check goes well, too. Those donuts sure look tasty. We just wish there was one of those near us.
ReplyDeleteYay for a smooth surgery!!! I hope Bryan recovers quickly.
ReplyDeleteDuck Donuts looks delicious, and I love the duck theme(JeJe has a LOT of ducks on her dashboard)!
hugs,
Beth
We've never heard of Duck Donuts and we sure would like to have one in our area! We send Bryan lots of healing vibes!
ReplyDeleteI'm so happy the surgery went well yesterday. I spent all day sending prayers. Thanks for the update.
ReplyDeleteOh the donuts. I love them, but they don't love me. I would have gone with you. I would have decorated one and ate it with you. Just saying.
Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Love and hugs to you and Kit and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥

Those donuts would cure my urge to duck donuts.
ReplyDeleteJust came in to check on Bryan's eye op. Glad it went well and that his post op appointment will go well. And oh those donuts. I have heard of Duck Donuts. They seem to have an excellent reputation. Keeping you all in my thoughts.
ReplyDeleteYay for good news on the surgery, hope the followup went well too. We have a Duck Donut store in Leawood, near us, but the peeps have not been there. Bet they were really good!!!

Thanks for explaining the "Research Triangle." I had no idea. So glad there isn't one of those Duck Donuts places here in the TN Valley! Give my best to Bryan.
