My Photo Journalist and dear friend Janice sent me a text:
"Can you see the ground hog eating my Cone Flowers?
They are such fun to watch, their legs are so short and it is big around, amazing how fast they can move."
I replied: "Yes I can...it is lucky to be eating the flowers of someone who thinks he is cute"
Great quote for a Happy Tuesday
maybe the ground hog needs some flower power for the weather forecast next year?

ReplyDelete...and we all think it's cute, too, right?! YAM xx
He saw the welcome sign and thought it was for him.
ReplyDeleteIt's dessert!
ReplyDeleteThey are cute little buggers but they help themselves to what is not theirs.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed the quote, thanks. Our groundhog has been picking up sour apples off the ground. Some of the storms knocked off a little unripe apples. We had a bit of rain last night but it's still so humid up here and once again it'll be pushing 90 today.
ReplyDeleteWell, being fairly big with short legs, we GBGV's can move fast too, LOL! What a cute fellow. He could come here and eat our plants too.
ReplyDeleteYears ago I had one living under a shed that I used to have. He never did eat any of my flowers but he would go out in his yard every evening and much away on grass.
ReplyDeleteI don't think we have them in Mississippi.
ReplyDeleteHad no idea they would eat cone flowers! We had a couple back in MO and I never paid attention to what they ate. Too mad at the squirrels for tearing up all my purple petunias. Great quote for Happy Tuesday :)
ReplyDeleteI didn't know that cone flowers were so tasty. That ground hog is a cutie.
ReplyDeleteLOL...Your reply was priceless C....We now only get flowers that bunnies don't like, Ed definitely doesn't think they are cute.
ReplyDeletehugs,
Beth
I can see him too. Cute and it's good that she's okay with him eating her flowers. A great capture.
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.
Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug to Auntie C and Kit and lots of scritches to the kitties. ♥
phil...just sayin...feb ewe arry 2nd waz like.....well, bak in feb ewe arry !!! ☺☺♥♥ N joy thoz cone flowerz :)
ReplyDeleteI love Janice’s attitude❣️ Tell her to sprinkle cinnamon on around flowers to deter critters. It saved my mandevilla from the squirrels. 😉
ReplyDeleteHe's very blessed to have a fan club and yes, if you are happy now, know it and remember.
ReplyDeleteLittle so and so!
ReplyDeleteMom agrees with your response wholeheartedly. We lose all our beautiful yellow daylilies to the rabbits and deer. We hardly get to see them in bloom for a few days before the pretty flowers all disappear.
