Here are the Friendly Fill-Ins for tomorrow. Ellen came up with the first two and my wonderful co-host, Lorianne of Four-Legged Furballs came up with second two.
1. A word to describe my life right now would be cave dweller. It is so hot we are keeping all the shades down. The only window with light is over the kitchen sink.
2. Hot, Humid, summer weather drives me batty
3. When it comes to weather preference I’m most known for loving spring and fall.
4. A good book and a cold glass of water or iced coffee that I make myself, is my idea of cozy.
what a super photo with the otter... and we love the diva with the hat...
ReplyDeleteOtters need to take a rest sometimes too! Cute photo of Angel Madi. Good fill ins. Although we don't get the very high temperatures you do, when our average summer temperature is 65 and we end up getting 80+, that is extreme for us.

ReplyDeleteThat's a packed post for the end of the week - each a joy! YAM xx
To be on an Alaskan cruise in this un-doGly heat! The otter is living the life! Love the photos of Madi in her stylish hat! We agree with all of your fill-ins and our curtains are drawn when the hot sun is out too!
ReplyDeleteI can see where your angel is definitely dark gray like Precious. And what a marvelous new header that you have up for the hot month of july. And June wasn't much better now was it. Makes you kind of wanted to get on that Iceberg along with that otter for a few minutes.
ReplyDeleteThe summer heat isn't much fun but if our shades were down, Nelson and Olivia would destroy them trying to look outside. Mom used to have layovers in Anchorage around the longest day of the year. One time Gramma went along and they did a short glacier cruise and it was fabulous, no otters on ice, though.
ReplyDeleteOtter's are so dang cute. Yes, it is so hot. I prefer Spring and Fall.
ReplyDeleteHow fun to see the otter hanging out on the ice. Cute pictures of Madi but it appears the hat is on the wrong end of the cat...lol
ReplyDeleteCutest otter on ice we have ever seen...but Angel Madi in a Cat Hat is just as cute!
ReplyDeleteWe're with you on the Spring and Fall seasons being the best...it is CRAZY hawt here this week!
xoxo,
Rosy & Sunny (and Beth too)
What a cute flash back of Madi. We're with you on hating the hot and humid weather. We too live in the dark with shades drawn to try to keep the house as cool as possible.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lot of joy to see Madi this morning with her July straw hat. It's another joyous thing to see that you did Fill-Ins!!! Definitely with you on the summer edition of the Fill-Ins with regard to the weather which is HOT, HOT, HOT! Just give me fall and winter in Florida. I am an otter lover :) Amazing seeing an otter out there on its very own ice float. Thoroughly enjoyed the Marjorie Glacier info.
ReplyDeletestay chillax mizzturr otter 💙💙💙 N madi..yur hat total lee rox…front AND bak 😸😸🐟😺‼️
ReplyDeleteSweet Madi memories! Your fill-ins were spoken like a true Southern lady glistening in the heat! 🥵 Oh, to be an otter chilling on ice! 😹
