Saturday Stitches and Symmetry

Hosted by
YAM Aunty click here to see her handwork

Thanks to YAM for fueling my urge to crochet  Today I have 2 news squares

thank our Host, YAM, for encouraging me not to give up on the troubled TREBLE.
She said she thought I'd find it a useful stitch to conquer...SHE WAS CORRECT**.
Last week I featured my 'version' of the treble.
This week I completed the real TREBLE. I used thicker yarn

I have a new favorite crochet stitch...
It is called Aligned Cobble Stitch, it has such personality too and is fun.  It is made with single and treble crochet stitches.
I had an entire skein of Soft Sage...it is such a pretty color

YAM was correct about the treble stitch** it is the terrific Treble that makes this adorable cobble pattern

OOoh Miss C - brava!!! As you will see on my own post today, those longer stitches, even unlinked, can make very fine things! YAM xx

  3. Great crochet. I enjoy using the treble when I'm doing a doily which I am right now. You're crocheting is terrific and I enjoy the Symmetry this morning. Happy Saturday and a hot day.

  4. They look complicated! I never learned how to crochet, always wanted to, but I'm not sure I'd have the patience at this point. 🙃

  9. The soft sage color is so pretty. The treble stitch and the coble stitch make such a nice distinct pattern. Well done, C! I am curious about the Cat in the Hat photo too! Has to be at your walking mall I am thinking... I see the metal door.
