Did you know that there are many physical, mental, and emotional benefits associated with being a pet owner?
Yes it's true, pets help you feel less lonely. They make you more social beings and they also provide amazing emotional support and companionship.
Having a pet can encourage you to get outdoors, to meet new people, and to become more responsible.
Pets can also help lower stress and anxiety, and increase physical activity.
We take good care of our peeps❣️❣️❣️
How does having a pet benefit you?
Love Rocky your Ginger Nephew
Those are very true facts, Rocky. I will never stop missing my boys, but I know they are looking over me and helping me to keep going.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely!!! I do miss actually having a pet of my own... but I very much benefit from all the lovely peeps I meet who let me love on theirs! Hugs and whiskeries YAM-aunty xxx
Gibbs is good at keeping me company. If it weren't for him I would have to talk to myself. Now if I could only get him to learn how to answer when I say something to him.
ReplyDeleteDeer Rocky, I make sure that Lynn is well loved. That is why I make her give me 3 hours of leg time every night. It's for her benefit not mine. And yes I do get to see the outdoor kitties sometimes. Only when I'm not sound asleep, then Lynn makes sure to holler for me. Precious
ReplyDeleteI believe it. Happy Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteMom knows we give her so many benefits in life. She also read recently about a study where it was determined that women who sleep with their dog have much deeper and better sleep than those who sleep with their human partner. Good thing we love to sleep in bed.
ReplyDeleteI provide plenty of hugs and kisses for mom, which she can't live without. You are a smart kitty, Rocky!
ReplyDeleteI do my best to keep my parents on schedule all day. It's my job to make sure they know when to feed me and when they should be having their meals too.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great post Rocky! I like to make sure Mama gets out for her morning walk, Sunny makes sure both pawrents stay on schedule at all times!

You don't have to convince me!
ReplyDeleteMY best furriend and one who loves me unconditionally (as I love her) is hard to beat!
ReplyDeleteRocky, so very true about pets. We miss kitties in our life. And we miss all the kitties that made us a family♥ But it helps to stay with the pet bloggers... they make the missing part not so hard.
ReplyDeleteYes, that is true, true, true!
ReplyDeleteI knew that. :) Great shot of the 3 of you. XO
ReplyDeleteCompanionship is our forte.
ReplyDeleteOona: "These are all excellent reasons to have a pet. Plus humans need someone to tell them what to do and keep them in line, and no one is better for that than a cat. Certainly the dog isn't going to do it."
ReplyDeleteJava Bean: "Ayyy, we might!"
Oona: "Sure you will."
Charlee: "You all look very comfy in the sunpuddle there!"
Having pets all my life has given me a chance to be a Mom since I couldn't have children......and I wouldn't trade that for anything!
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Companionship, unconditional love, connection with neighbors, touch needs fulfilled, and so much more are provided by my wonderful dogs.
