Thanks to YAM for fueling my urge to crochet
Gray variegated on top is my 2nd square of half double crochets
The white is a new stitch called up and down made of single and double crochets
THERE IS
RED YARN
IN THE HOUSE AND YARN NEEDLES
The squares are sewn together by hand with yarn and a yarn needle
Here is a close of up the new UP and Down stitch
I now have 20 squares total
Next project is deciding how many red squares

ReplyDeleteThat's what I know as the linen stitch. It's often used with cotton yarn to create wash cloths. Easy and effective pattern. Joining all your squares with red is going to make the blankie pop! Can't wait to see the final product 😁 YAM xx
I like the looks of that stitch. That red is going to look really nice mixed in with the other squares.
