It 'lives' in front of the Anchorage Inn on Ocracoke Island, NC
When Mom first saw it, she thought it was fake. Evidently it has been
there furever. If you look closely, you can see some carvings on it.

Going up in a Hot Air Balloon is on my bucket list for this year....Ed says he's not interested(like you, he'd rather enjoy them from the ground), so it will be a solo mission. They have a few different companies in the area that give balloon rides...I'll keep you updated!
