A beautiful photo and tribute to Gail. Her memory will forever live on.
ReplyDeleteNot sure a vacation would be worth it if you had to return to that mess!!!😹 Yes, sleepless in GA! 😖
Lovely photo of Gail. It doesn't seem possible that a year has passed already.
ReplyDeleteThat vacation will soon be forgotten with that mountain of work to get through.
Gail: a loving and beautiful blogger, always remembered with much fondness.

ReplyDeleteWhen I took that photo of Gail and Nobby, we had no idea it would be but a mere month later that she would be with us no more... it was just too darned quick, and the blog circle is a little darker for her absence.
As for the photo challenge - you nailed it. I've faced something not very different from that in days of yore! YAM xx
That's a lovely photo of Gail. 💕
ReplyDeleteIf I had a mountain of paperwork like that, I'd turn around and walk out. 😆
A nice picture of your friend Gail. Some people leave us with lasting memories.
ReplyDeleteThat pictures is just what it always felt like going back to work after a vacation
how quickly this year has passed, and I love this photo of Gail and Nobby. Thanks for the memories, she will always be missed. my kitchen table looks a lot like this desk. I always complained when I went back to work after vacation that being off was not worth it when I came back. Even though someone did my work, there was always the left overs, and not the good kind
ReplyDeleteI hope she gets her work done before Christmas! Gail and Nobby were the best and we miss them all the time. She passed way too young.
ReplyDeleteFinally after being retired 20 years I quit having nightmares at like this. Now this photo will make me back to having nightmares tonight, lol.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know her, but I am sorry for the loss of your friend.
ReplyDeleteGail will be forever missed, such a lovely tribute for her today>
ReplyDeleteThe poem picture brings back some "not so good" memories of coming back from vacation while working in the corporate world....*shiver* BOL!
Big Hugs,

I didn't know Gail but she must have been a very special and kind person as I read comments about her and your tribute to her with your acrostic poem.
ReplyDeleteThe photo this week is kinda scary! I never worked at a desk, I worked retail I kept moving! I enjoyed your poem, C!
It's hard to believe that a year has passed since Gail left us. Your poem for that picture is perfect.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute to Gail. And great job on the other poem. XO
ReplyDeleteThat was such a lovely tribute to Gail. Thanks for joining Angel Brian's Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteSweet tribute and I am so sorry you lost your friend Gail. Sending hugs, Denise xo
ReplyDeleteThat pile of work on the desk would definitely make me think "I need a vacation" or "I need a match!!"...............tee hee.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Pam
Has it really been a year? I loved her blog, then I can't remember if she stopped doing it or I just lost track of it. (years ago) Thank you for doing a memorial for her.
ReplyDeleteAnd that poem is spot on!
