Our hosts for Nature Friday LLB Gang
Photo taken on January 16....OMCs/OMDs our daffodils buds are about to open. Years ago we had over 200 bulbs planted.
Our Rock Garden receives about 4 hours of sun starting at 11am in the winter. And I might add out of 200 these are the ones that still flower. All the others just sprout greenery.

Madi shares Secrets for Proper grooming:
1. Always be sure to wash your back thoroughly to control the build up of human cooties.

2. Remember the toes should be clean one at a time and stretch that leg out to tone your thighs

3. Don't forget to wash both sides of your face, behind your ears and
Remember to clean the corners of your eyes.

4. When cleaning your chin remember to hold your head back to stretch the neck
muscles otherwise you'll be doing 'double duty'. (MOL)

5. Most importantly get lots of beauty sleep in spite of the
horrid flashy beast.

Thanks for dropping by.

Great bathing/washing tecnique! Our daffs are buried in a deep blanket of snow!

ReplyDeleteMy word, I wouldn't expect to see daffs here for at least another eight weeks... though it's such a mild winter thus far, who knows?! YAM xx
We hope your daffies survive the cold and snow and ice that's coming your way. You do a very thorough cleaning, Madi! Stay warm and safe!
ReplyDeleteOh my word, daffodils in January? We won't be seeing ours for quite some time yet. We are always way behind everyone else.
ReplyDeleteGreat techniques Madi
to remember all your instructions, dear Madi, I need to write them down and be careful to put the written directions where I can SEE them. that is where I am at. that is a lot of daffodils.. hope they bloom soon
ReplyDeleteAngel Madie you are definitely a kitty's Kitty. You know the proper way of take a bath. Most of us girl kitties definitely have it down pat. Lynn is jealous of your daffodil flowers and I'm jealous of your sunshine. We just hope if this storm comes your way that the ice doesn't kill the flowers. We'll just be Knee Deep and snow again.
ReplyDeleteDaffodils! Sob! We have so much snow, with more in the way, and a minus 30-something windchill tonight. Coldest weather in a decade, the weather folks tell us. 🥶❄️
ReplyDeleteAngel Madi wrote the manual on kitty bathing! 🙃
We had to read that twice as it looks like a summer photo but it is not according to what you wrote about when it was taken. We are going for a very quick walk in a few minutes as it is -23 actual temp this morning, -45 with the windchill. For me and Nelson it is the coldest we have ever experienced. Mom says when she was growing up there were always a few days like this but global warming has made them pretty rare.
ReplyDeleteOur daffodils are just showing above the ground, but the snowdrops are in full flower. Madi was an expert in cleanliness.
ReplyDeleteUmmmmm.....those daffies may be in for a big surprise this weekend, but it is so nice to see signs of Spring!!
ReplyDeleteThat Madi sure knew how to take a bath!
hugs,
Beth and the Girls!
I don't think the cold snap that is coming is going to be very good for your daffodils. That's a fun flash back of Madi.
ReplyDeleteCharlee: "Hey Chaplin! Come here, Madi has got grooming tips for you."
ReplyDeleteChaplin: "What's wrong with my grooming?"
Charlee: "Um, that you don't bother with doing it?"
Oona: "That is why Oona holds him down and grooms him properly. Somebody has to do it after all."
Fun post ~ and photos ~ love Madi ~ hugs,
ReplyDeleteHugs to you Cecilia and Angel Madi
You are a rock star!!! That was a very fun flashback!
ReplyDeleteMadi, those are some impressive and all inclusive steps and secrets to good grooming. Hahaha, I never thought about human cooties concentrated on the backs of kitties. But for sure, I must have ran my hand over the Z Cat's back a zillion times a day♥
ReplyDeleteThose are some brave little daffies!
