TODAY I WANT TO TELL YOU about a big
THANKFUL
We were able to clear snow off our cars. Our house faces NORTH. Never any sun on the side walk. We used ice melt on our steps and side walk. However, our drive way is just too steep for two old codgers to balance on a slippery slope and shovel .
The snow in front of our garage (and our neighbor's) had a layer of ice under it. No amount of shoveling will break that up.
SUNDAY AFTERNOON we looked out our window to see
Dear Neighbor Ken, shoveling our steep driveway.
Today is Poetic Thursday hosted by our pals Teddy and Angel Sammy at Two Spoiled Cats
Today's photo challenge
I am writing this poem for the man on the right pointing his finger

Neighbor Ken is a HERO in our eyes!!!!
ReplyDeleteHelped without asking, shovel in hand,
Easing the burden with a neighborly stand.
Reminding us kindness can fall like snow.
Ordinary acts—where true heroes show.
Your made me think of this: Pardon, would you happen to have any Grey Poupon? 😹😹😹😹
Thx, ChatGPT! 😉
Deletethats great to have such a nice neighbor... we hope the ice will melt, that is dangerous for peeps to walk on ice...
