When I was in the 1st grade my Marine Corps daddy was stationed in Korea for 13 months! I missed him terribly. Mother taught me this song & I sang it every time I looked at the moon: I see the moon the moon sees me, down through the leaves of the old oak tree, please let the light that shines on me, shine on the one I love.
We had 60 mile an hour wind on Friday for over 12 hours. Our power went out early Friday afternoon and was off until late last night. House got extremely cold and you should have seen me wearing two pair of pants three shirts a heavy coat and a scarf at the same time. Well under a blanket. We are grateful this morning to get out of bed and flip the light switch and everything is still working. There are thousands in Ohio that are not that lucky.
THAT is a great moon shot! If I didn't have 90' trees surrounding me where the moon usually is, I would love to do the same!! May times I have to go down my hill into the "settlement" to take sky pictures. Thank you for your comment today. (((HUG)))
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh!! “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. Buscaglia) TONS OF HUGS

ReplyDeleteTwo very pretty clicks of the moon, Cecilia. It's glowing and serene.
ReplyDeleteThat sure is a bright moon. Most of the time we don't get to see the moon because it's always so cloudy.
