Our most glorious Azaela it is an Encore Harry Girarad

We had 6 planted 4 in the middle died one on each end thrived.  Photo taken on April 5, 2026

All 100 Counties in North Carolina are in severe drought status and under a no burn BAN.  This year I decided to plant plastic flowers in the flower pots on our front porch.  I was quite impressed with the selection of low maintenance plastic plants at Hobby Lobby.  Now for a test there is one REAL plant in one of the pots

can you tell me which one is real?  Answer at the end!!

The flower pot on top step is a fake Spider Plant

The flower pot on the bottom step contains a Fake ivy and a real Creeping Jenny.  Creeping Jenny is a tough cookie. She has been living in that flower pot for eons.  She goes dormant in the winter and OMCs she wakes up from a long nap in about March.

She and the fake ivy look quite happy together.

As per expected, it started off a tad mysterious.

Mom came in the kitchen to find me looking

a tad purrplexed!!

She thinks everything is a photo op so she ran for the flashy beast

She could tell by the intense look in my eyes there was indeed a

mystery.....but WHAT??

 So she came closer to the sink to see what had me captivated

She COL (cackled out loud) when she  saw a Cheerio on steroids floating in water.  

She had the audacity (my $10.00 word) to say Madi it certainly doesn't take much to entertain you....to which I replied well evidently it entertained you too. MOL
