Today we join
Opposite of Polar Plunge
Sun fun galore
Oh no frozen water for us
Look at our smiles
Age has moved us to warmer waters
Roaring with laughter
Perhaps folks call us crazy
Look we are not phased
Undies are drenched
Never fear at our age we have extras
Good times for all
Everyone watching is envious our toes in the water not boots
Thank you all for you comments on the first Teapot post. There will be one each week for the next month or so.
Today I am thankful for another most dependable person...our
Derwin at Young's Tree Tech. Recently we noticed a very large limb from one of our trees was broken and hanging over our neighbor's shrubs..(it was caught by the shrubs and didn't damage anything). We told our neighbors we were get it removed. Derwin has been our go to tree removal guru for 25 years. I called him Friday June 5, he came out to estimate it Saturday June 6. He came on June 10 to remove the limb and cut back all limbs around the house that were hanging over the roof. Very thankful the tree is healthy. It is actually a Siamese tree...MOL trunk was joined as it came out of the ground but turned into two beauties. It has the most beautiful red leaves in the fall.

such a wonderful description in your poem... we really could feel it (fortunately not the wet undies hahahaha)
