Madi: Mom got new shoes I got a new box

Yep Mom got (more) new shoes. She only has 2 feet I don't know why she needed more.

Dad is probably glad I don't wear shoes...can you imagine how much that would cost?

The Diva Island Princess Cat would have to get a J O B!

Mom mentioned that this new box, aka my Condo, was larger than my old Condo.

She said she would probably be able to cut two windows in it for me. Yippee

Mom took a short video (below) of me playing in my new Condo. You can see my old Condo in this video. WE STRONGLY suggest you watch it all (1:57). There is a surprise ending!!!

MY SUN

It smells the same, and looks the same, so it must be MY SUN.

This picture has an interesting effect.

Mom went outside to take a picture of me inside sitting

in my spot. The deck and the porch are reflected in the

glass door. It looks as if the outside came in.

In the picture below, I'm looking at my crazy Mom on her knees taking a picture

of me!!! Since we started this blogging thing she does the

oddest things.

Yes indeed Mr. Sun found its way to North Carolina

and we are very thankful. We all need some Vitamin D.

Lovely Fall Day at Leadmine Lake Raleigh, NC

Happy Weekend all.
"What is Madi Thinking" will return next week.
We have lots of drafts waiting to post.
It has been such a dreary, rainy, windy week here in Raleigh.
Mom decided to post these lovely pictures in hopes of encouraging the sun to return.
They were taken last Saturday on Mom's walk just a few blocks from our house.

We miss you Sun please return.

I'm not sure what constitutes a 'lake'. It is more like a pond

Lake or pond it is quite lovely this time of year

It is not on Mom's regular walking route but she often

takes a detour. She wishes there was a trail around.
There are home around the entire lake.

For some reason Mom felt the need to 'weed out' some of my pictures.

I've been trying to tell her she takes too many pictures but does she listen?

She found several that she said 'spoke to her' or at least she is taking a guess at what
I might be thinking..

I tell you the woman has too much time on her hands.
