A funny from my Honey

The  CEC (Christmas Eve Crud) gave me laryngitis...BIG time.

My honey is very dry witted.

One day he commented: 

"you were a little 'hoarse' yesterday, but today you are a Clydesdale".  

After he said it, he was a bit apprehensive thinking maybe I wasn't ready for a giggle

I love Clydesdale horses...It gave me the happies and giggles too!!

Friday we had a Winter Storm Warning for north Georgia.

We received more freezing rain than snow, which is no fun!

We lost power twice, but Dad had the portable generator ready, and the wood stove kept us warm.  Mom says it’s time for a full-house generator, like a Generac or Kohler.

Saturday Snicker: Rocky da Brave vs Cali

 You know the expression “enough is enough”? Well I have had enough of Cali’s rude behavior. 

She opened the cabinet where Mom stores Christmas decorations, so I went in for a quick peek. 

When Cali saw me she got snippy with me! It took all the courage I have, but I finally stood up for myself! 😹

River Otters Pine Knoll Shores Aquarium

Staff Welcomed Two Otter Brothers, Pee Dee and Rocky a few years ago.

Pine Knoll Shores, N.C. — Two new North American river otters, Pee Dee and Rocky, will add additional adorable antics to the North American River Otter habitat at the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores. 

The two, 9-month-old otters, both male, come from a litter of otter pups born at Milwaukee County Zoo in Milwaukee, WI as part of the Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) Species Survival Plan®(SSP) Program. Their mother and a sister are both still at Milwaukee County Zoo.

Both Pee Dee and Rocky are named after North Carolina rivers and will share a space with the Aquarium’s current otters, Eno the oldest otter (17y.o.) 

I recall from the tour that Eno always floats on his back
