Cali is always close to her Dad/David this was taken on his birthday, October 8, 2025. She spent lots of time in his lap too

Cali will always remember that her Dad found her in the driveway all alone.  Once he scooped her up into his arms, he was her knight in shining armor.

Do you have a favorite song? 

A song that you never get tired of hearing & always touches your soul?

Mom’s favorite is Wichita Lineman by Glenn Campbell. 

Jimmy Webb wrote "Wichita Lineman" in response to Campbell's urgent phone request for a "place"-based or "geographical" song to follow up "By the Time I Get to

Phoenix".  

His lyrical inspiration came while driving through the high plains of the Oklahoma panhandle past a long line of telephone poles, on one of which perched a lineman speaking into his handset. Webb "put himself atop that pole" with the phone in his hand as he imagined the lineman talking to his girlfriend. Despite its real-life roots lying elsewhere, Webb set his song in Wichita, Kansas.

Campbell, who was born in Oklahoma, said, "When I heard it I cried because I was homesick."

In 2021, Rolling Stone magazine's list of the "500 Greatest Songs of All Time" ranked "Wichita Lineman" at number 206. Singer-songwriter Bob Dylan considered it "the greatest song ever written".

Best lyrics ever: “And I need you more than want you, and I want you for all time.”

Auntie HiC has turned  upside down and all around.  I don’t see anything broken but she has a new middle name.  From this day forward, she will be known as Cali da contortionist.
I bet if one of you lick her toesies she will move quicker than greased lightning

Nephews replied:

I replied:

Mol good thinking a Calico can be quite unpredictable and throw a hissy fit w/o warning
