  1. Love those giraffes! Toys R Us went into liquidation in 2018 in the UK, but I think I remember reading they have started opening some franchise stores again.

  2. I hope the store does well. Such wonderful things for kids these days, and such lovely (and tempting) displays for passers by.

  3. When my kids were little we made many trips to Toys R Us. I used to break out into song singing their jingle whenever the discussion of maturity came up.

  5. Just what we needed are a few life-size stuffed animals in the living room, lol. Make me think that I'm watching PBS Nature every night. Happy Sunday

  7. love the tigers and giraffes, never visits a Toys R Us, way over my purse strings and besides my kids are 60, so probably it was not around when they were kids. K=mart came out when my boys were 10 and 12 and after that I left Sears and Pennys for Kmart and then Walmart. most toys were Sears catalog

  11. We heard that Toys R Us was going to open a few stores. We hope we get one here. Toy selections are poor around here. Those stuffies are huge and amazing.

  12. I thought Toys R Us was out of business. Our Macy's has a section with their stuff, but no stand alone stores. XO

  14. I do enjoy looking at the toys. Now we've got a granddaughter, I wouldn't mind a stroll through a toy store again.
