My next crochet project 'might' be learning or attempting to learn
63 patterns. All are 7" squares.
Here are a few photos of squares as they were completed
FRONT of completed Afghan
I made 20-7" squares (not 63 according to pattern).
Dimensions: 40" long x 32 wide
This one is the perfect size for your lap.
The instructions for joining the squares were to slip stitch together with white yarn using a yarn needle...I decided to join the squares with a single crochet. I joined 4 vertical rows of 5 squares, then I joined each of 4 vertical rows of 5 together
I like how the white yarn outlines or gives the appearance of topstitching on the squares on the front and on the back
BACK
I washed it on delicate dried slightly then blocked.
It took 2 1/2 days to completely dry.
The border is 5 rows of single crochets
