Saturday Photo Hunt: Footprints

First of all we apologize if we missed visiting you yesterday.
My grandma had medical appts then mom took here to lunch.
Mom just barely got home in time to feed me. MOL

Of course there is a story to go with

this footprint picture.

Recently the peeps took a new section of the Green Way 

trail around our fair city.  It was smack in the middle of a

work day so they had it all to themselves. The end of the trail was just around the bend from where this picture was taken.  On the way back to the car they encounter fresh footprints.

There were no peeps or pets on the trail and no way they

could have passed the peeps...just woods.  So the footprints were a little spooky.  They think they had a close encounter

with possibly a fox. Can any of you read

critters footprints?

Recently Mom came home with a new enrichment

toy for me. 

I was most excited until I realized {This Moment}

there might not be much Beautiful to See.

WHY

 assembly was required. 

 Upon closer inspection

I found there were a gazillion pieces

BUT

NO tools required.

 LOOK AT THESE INSTRUCTIONS

Granted Mom has thumbs but when it comes to 

things like this she is all thumbs!!

Mom was supposed to magically turn all these pieces 

look like the picture on the top left.

 LO AND BEHOLD SOME HOW SHE DID IT.

I walked about it sniffing it for flaws

and testing it for strength...because according to the 

pictures I can climb on it. MOL MOL MOL

Mom flunked Domestic Engineering 101 

I won't be climbing on it.

WITH A LITTLE CATNIP FOR ENCOURAGEMENT I CREPT INTO IT

 Mom loves me and is always trying to make sure

My Friend

or ended most of his comments with those two words.

THIS MORNING Beth and Mike had to say good bye

to their constant and faithful companion. One thing they 

knew for sure was he would not suffer he would keep his dignity and he did.  

Remington you did Steal my Heart four years ago

From the very moment I saw your sweet face.

You were one of my first friends...... 

you made me laugh each day.  You taught me about the 

stars and the moon. 

 you taught us all how to love books
