Saturday Symmetry

Wednesday, January 10th was a beautiful day but the wind, they call Mariah,  was gusting at about 40 mph.  In fact, so gusty we could see it blowing the clouds at mach wind speed. 

We  decided it was a good day to walk around the inside of the NC Museum of Art and have lunch.   FYI when the employees were putting up the umbrellas we wondered WHY with the Wind.  Within 5 min all the umbrellas were on the ground.

 The cafe at the museum has changed hands...it used to be (BEFORE COVID) quite nice and there was table service.  Now everything all sandwiches and salads are in a cooler (serve yourself). Soup, and 2 hot sandwiches are made to order.

Both of use enjoyed what we ordered but JUMPIN' CATFISH the cost was as high as the clouds.  Bottle water $3.00 each our lunch total with tip was $34.00

We both enjoyed the fries.

Madi's always looked so comfy in her sweet roll pose

Sneaky Squirrel photo taken last weekend.  He is obviously new to the 'hood. He tried several times to scurry up the pole banged his head around several times before coming down.    All our resident squirrels know they only thing they will get up there is a headache.

Ground Hog Ginger, Ground hog Gill

Doing the ground hog Two Step

Out on the prairie

Ginger's whiskers tickle Gill as he whispers.

Gill holds tight to Ginger who is not SKINNY

Muskrat Susie, Muskrat Sam

Do the jitterbug
Out in the muskrat land
And they shimmy
Sam is so skinny

Gill gives Ginger a whirl 

while singin' his love

Ginger is sure she is floating

on cloud 9 in heavens above.

This is looks like Ground Hog Love

And they whirl and they twirl and they tango
Singin' and jinglin' a jango
Floatin' like the heavens above
Looks like muskrat love

Nibblin' on Ginger's ear
Gill says to her
Honey would you be my Prairie Princess
for all of your years?
Ginger squeals yes dear 
as she blows kisses into his ear.

Nibblin' on bacon, chewin' on cheese

Sam says to Susie

Honey, would you please be my Mrs?

Suzie she says yes, with her kisses 

Now Gill is happy, he wiggles
Ginger giggles 
as nose to nose they stand
for all of their years

Now, he's ticklin' her fancy
Rubbin' her ties
Muzzle to muzzle now
Anything goes
As they wiggle
Sue starts to giggle

Mom named her new robo-vac Rosie. She was a huge Jetson’s fan, back in the day, and loved their maid, Rosie!
