Madi has a question????

Madi: Sometimes I'm just busy thinking and Mom bothers me.....
Note from Mom: the tall chest behind Madi is the one she likes to jump on in the middle of the night. As you can see it has lots of drawers with lots of handles that clink and clank as she would jump up and down. Now you see why she doesn't sleep in our bedroom.

UPDATE On My Papa aka Mom's Dad.
The doctor at UNC said the bump below Papa's eye was going to have to be removed. It is a small area of basal cell skin cancer. The surgery is scheduled for September 15.
Thank you all very much for your concern and kind wishes.

  2. Madi, quiet thinking is very important to a cat. But I would like to know if you are thinking about clinking and clanking the dresser in the middle of the night?

  3. But Madster, I know what you mean, moms always want to bother us when we are contemplating the universe. MOL! I like that chest, it would make really good night noises. I can't figure out why Mom & Dad get upset when I play with my toys outside their bedroom door in the middle of the night. The ones with the bells are the most fun.

    Cindi Lou

Your dad will be in our thoughts and prayers.

  5. Thanks for the update on your Dad - sounds like a good idea to get that removed!
Madi, we are so with you, these humans give us no peace at all.....!
The price we pay for being incredibly cute.
As for jumping on the unit through the night that sounds like great fun - the other night Martha decided to play with a squeaky toy at around 3am - they didn't care for that either....!
These humans have a complete lack of imagination.

  7. Hi Madi! Thinking time, huh? I guess I can understand that. For me, it's more sniffing time. Sometimes I have to sit on the back steps and sniff the air very seriously and I just have to tell everyone that I'll be with them shortly. But then cats are a whole different kettle of fish.

We will be keeping paws crossed for your Papa's surgery and that it'll go smooth as silk and that he'll be fine.

    lotsa licks, Lola

  20. I love that one itty-bitty tiny towel that Madi is on. Does she stay on that one spot?

I have an entire blanket covering my bedspread for Jack as he think the entire california king bed is his. Even if I'm in it. Especially if I'm in it.

  21. I can't believe your mom bothers you like that. Hasn't she ever heard of the saying, "Let sleeping diva cats lie?"

  22. I still think that Madi does not sleep in the bedroom because her parents snore.
I'm sorry to hear about "Papa". I'll try to stop by more frequently for updates, but it sounds like you won't have one before September. My best!
As for your comment on my post today: tsk tsk. You're afraid of cat poo? What's my mom supposed to say then? And yours???

  23. Madi, sometimes hoomans are just a pain in the hiney, aren't they? I think you just have to grin and bear it, so long as they keep bringing you foods. :o)

  27. And here I thought it was just my mom that did those things. Tell your mom that if she wasn't hogging the bed and waking you up you wouldn't have to get on the dresser and make noise ;o)
