Thursday Theme Song: The Candy Man

Mom and I thank Hootin' Anni for sponsoring

Today's song is
The Candy Man Can
vocals by Sammy Davis, Jr.

Who can take a sunrise, sprinkle it with dew

(Sunrise picture taken from our deck January 8, 2011)
Cover it with choc'late and a miracle or two

The Candy Man Can
The Candy Man can 'cause he mixes it with love and makes the world taste good.

Who can take a rainbow, wrap it with a sigh
Soak it in the sun and make a groovy lemon pie
The Candy Man Can, the Candy Man makes everything he bakes staisfying and delicious
Now you talk about your childhood wishes, you can even eat the dishes
Oh who can take tomorrow, dip it in a dream
Separate the sorrow and collect up all the cream
The Candy Man, oh the Candy Man Can
Now we leave you with this delightful song full of energy and fun!!

Thanks for your nice comments. I had some rice and chicken stock this morning. Hopefully, it will settle my tummy. My mom is worried maybe I am developing irritable bowel syndrome.

  20. When we saw the title of your post, our Mama thought it was going to be the OTHER Candy Man song... the one by the Grateful Dead! Our Mama loves the Grateful Dead, but we like your Candy Man song better because it involves real candy!
