THINGS THAT FREAK MADI OUT

MADI: MOM COME QUICK THERE IS SOMETHING  BEHIND THE DOOR THAT SHOULD NOT BE THERE.

MOM: WHAT ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT AND WHY IS YOUR TAIL SO BUSHY?
MADI: WHAT IS THIS RED BUCKET DOING HERE?
MOM: MADI IT HAS BEEN THERE
FOREVER......

MADI: MOM YOU MUST BE KIDDING. I WOULD HAVE NOTICED
MOM: MADI I KID YOU NOT, IT IS OLDER THAN DIRT....

MADI: ITS FOR DIRT? WHAT IS IT DOING IN MY HOUSE?
MADI:  I THINK YOU ARE PULLING MY LEG, I INTEND TO
GET TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS....IT WILL BE COVERED
IN ESSENCE OF MADI WHEN I FINISH WITH IT.
NOTE FROM MOM:  SERIOUSLY WE HAVE HAD THIS PAIL IN THE STUDY SINCE B.M. (BEFORE MADI). ALL OF A SUDDEN THE OTHER NIGHT, MADI WAS EXPLORING IN THE DARK (PIC #1)....I HEARD HER YOWL...SO I WENT IN, TURNED ON THE LIGHT AND FOUND HER CREEPING TOWARD IT LIKE IT WAS AN ALIEN.  TRYING TO FIGURE OUT MADI MAKES MY HEAD HURT SO I DON'T EVEN TRY.

  1. Trying to figure out how a cat thinks can cause severe headaches, I don't try either. Cindi has done that a couple of times and had me thinking maybe something (bug, mouse, monster, etc) was behind or on the object. Of course nothing was found.

Have a great work week, April is getting closer!

  2. You never saw that bucket there before? How did you miss it for so long? Maybe Mom is just pulling your leg or tail. Licky kisses, Billy

  3. Hahahahaha! The mom thinks that's hilarious. (We have a mean mom.) Derry easily gets freaked out by every day things (he's quite skittish) and sometimes the mom almost pees herself laughing at him. She's cruel, we tell you!

  4. That's hysterical. Maybe her eyesight is changing and she all of sudden can see it? My kitty siblings do weird things like this all the time. Cats are funny!

  12. It's not the bucket, it's the invisible alien monster INSIDE of it!

  13. When I was in college I had a calico cat. One evening I heard that same YOWL come from my room. I thought, "did another cat get into the house? is there a fight??" When I went into my room she was stalking my fuzzy blue slippers!! When I burst out laughing she gave me "the look" and left the room.

  14. Just because it's been there a long time doesn't mean you REMEMBER seeing it! You have so much Diva stuff to remember what do they expect?

  15. Hi Madi
We need to tell 'em it's better to NOT try and figure us out. Last night around 2am I jumped up off of Mom (woke her up) scared Boo and we both ran off the bed. Mom thought we wanted out so she let us out of the bedroom and I went for a snack and Boo disappeared. When Mom headed back to bed I followed her and then I crawled around acting all scaredy. She didn't know what was wrong? Finally she awoke with me sleeping on her legs like I normally do. Mom's a bit tired today but that's ok...

  20. Madi? Have you lost your mind? I call it catsheimers. It's like halfheimers only mixed with hair on the brain.

I'm trying to be funny...and it's not working.

  21. hehehe I love it when cats do that (tail gets puffed up). It's just so funny. They ARE intelligent beings, you can bet on that. If they weren't they wouldn't wonder about stuff that they hadn't noticed before.

Sometimes with my dogs, I wonder if they really see us and what OUR eyes do. I'll stare at Freddy for a while until he looks back, and then I see the startlement pass through his body when he realizes I am really looking at him.
