THURSDAY THEME (BEACH) SONG: ACROSS THE STREET

Mom and I thank Hootin Anni for sponsoring.....
This summer we'll be featuring all Beach music, good shaggin' music on TTS day, today's song is Across the Street by
Lenny O'Henry
Across the street there's a party going on

Laughing, and (a Southern Pig Pickin'), dancing and ooooh romancin'

For those who don't know this is a big cooker used to cook a
whole pig for a Southern Pig Pickin
Everyone's invited but me.
I'm feelin' just as sad as can be
Across the street
Through my window I can see
There's my best friend Billy, oooooh with my Lilly
Making out (not really) behind my back,
Like all the other wolves in the pack

Across the street goin' to go out and get my Lilly
Make her feel silly, ooop knock out Billy
There's one thing she's got to learn
I love her so she'll never return
Across the Street.
Mom likes this song and wanted to use it eventually.  She was pleased when she found out our  neighbors were planning a graduation party for their son on June 18, 2011.

Is pig pickin' kinda like a pig pull?! LOL

I'm not sure you'd like it, but your peeps would!
Chin scratches to make you not feel left out!
