Tuesday Tale: Intruder

You might recall from my last week's post on being Tagged, I don't like loud noises!!
Without consulting me, the peeps made arrangements to have some repair work done at the homestead last week.  Mr. Repairman
arrived while I was napping in my special Sunpuddle chair.
I had no time to seek proper shelter.

Quick thinking on my part lead to this spot beside the island in the kitchen. I was also able to  keep an eye on him.  Lo and behold he saw me anyway. He told my peeps he had 3 cats and a woofie at home.

Evidently that was supposed to make me feel comfortable.
I held my ground right where I was refusing to come to him
to examine his smell mail.
After about 87 hours 1 hour of noise and commotion
he took his smell mail and his ladder out of my homestead.

  1. Great "thinking on your paws". The island in the kitchen can be used fur many evasive maneuvers. Hope you found a sunpuddle and had a nice snooze after this. xoxo

Pee Ess - will demerits be issued fur this oversight?

  2. Oh Madi, how traumatic it must have been to wake up to a repairman in your house. We think you were very wise to stay put, they will tell us anything to lure us into an unprotected location. Have you calmed down enough to sleep yet? You poor thing.

  19. Brudder Ranger doesn't like intruders either...but I sure do! IBrudder Ranger says strangers are shifty and it makes him KERAZY that I'm all, "Come on in and have a seat." I bet the two of you would be Most Excellent at guarding the house together.

  20. OMD you poor little thing. There is nothing worse then and intruder in my house. Last year we got a new floor in the kitchen, I didn't think I was gonna make it with all those people in here. How do they expect us to protect them if they invite people to come in??

  21. Oh my, Madi, I know you don't care for intruders, but I bet the service man was
there to repair Mom's internet access!
And your fans need to hear from you!
So glad it's all better so that Mom can complete the blog!

PS If he has 3 cats then he's most definitely a cat guy, so you should have been
a little easier on him! tee hee hee
