Looking Up Thursday

Today Mom and I are joining Bossy Betty in
Looking up Thursday

While resting on the rug I often look up
to catch a fleeting glimpse of my ceiling fan.
And the funny thing is often after I do this
I break out into what Mom calls the night crazies
or as some of my K9 friends say I do zoomies
running around the house.  Mom says she doesn't understand how one 11 lb cat can sound like a herd of elephants.
I run up the stairs all around up stairs and back down again
and go FLOP right under the whirly bird.
I am Madi and that is how I roll.
Hugs
Madi

  2. It's not called THoE(thunderin herd of elephants) for nothing, Madi! I get the zoomies as soon as I leave the litterbox. Mommy laughs cuz she knows exactly what I've been doing. HaHaMeow! That is a great pic of you on the rug, Madi. Happy Thursday! XOXO from your favorite mancat, Prancer Pie.

  5. That ceiling fan might give us nightmares whirling around like that. Our mama says the cat who was here before we came, her name was Tasha, did a lot of zombie running. She was a big kitty at 16 lbs and mama says it sounded like the whole elephant herd was in the hallway.

  13. We like that idea of looking up. We will have to try it. Madi, you and Mahoney baloney could have races. Mahoney goes really fast up and down this house. She even crashes into things. Hope you and your family have a great day. Hope the grandparents are doing all right. It is time for an update.

  15. Zoomies are SO much fun!! Sometimes when Momma is being too serious at her computer, I'll break into some zoomies and make her laugh. Then she usually pets me, so it's a win-win!

  16. laughing now.... baby is scared to death of the ceiling fan. she rolls her eyes up to see if it is on causing us to howl with laughter. we don't use it much because i don't like air blowing on my face. tell mom, if she thinks 11 pounds is lound, try 50 pound dogs. BTW the squirrels that eat our fruit run accross the roof and it sounds like a herd of elephants to

  17. Some of us would love to do a "Vulcan Mind Probe" as to what goes on in our pets minds when they do the Zoomies through the house! LOL
Did the Energizer Bunny bump you?
Do you have left over caffeine or sugar in your blood system?
Or are you just trying to keep us on our toes?! LOL

  22. Kepsey can sound like a swat team in the middle of the night. We're still wondering how he got a tennis ball in his mouth and was able to yowl. Kate

  26. Madi, I get the night crazies too! My Peeps don't get it either, but we have to keep them guessing right? I just all of a sudden go nuts and run around with a toy doing zoomies. You and I know how much fun that is.

  27. Madi, I'm the zoomer in this house. But I get the zoomies after I use the "facilities." The mom just doesn't understand it.
