TODAY'S WORD IS
C R E A T I V I T Y:
IS A PHENOMENON WHEREBY SOMETHING NEW AND VALUABLE IS CREATED
I thought Mom showed quite a bit of creativity
when she made me an afghan.
The darker gray yarn is made from my furs and just a few of Remington's furs. It was spun by
Angel Remington's Mom
this is very valuable and somewhat of a phenomenon too!!
We are happy to report my son in law was moved to Rehab unit yesterday.Today he began an intensive Physical and Occupational Therapy program. He has 1 hour of OT and Speech Therapy a day followed by 2-1 hour Physical Therapy sessions. Today he practiced walking, stairs and riding a recumbent bike.
WTG SIL/BIL
Mommy loves the fur idea...guess what she's going to start saving.
ReplyDeletePaws up for your SIL, it sounds like he has an excellent rehab team.

Gees, our human didn't even notice that she wrote the same first words as Dip - Dip. LOL. It's too early in the AM to be doing this! :-)

ReplyDeleteSounds like SIL is making great progress already, that's pawsome! We know it can't be easy but we're rooting for him all the way.

That sure is a gorgeous afghan. Love the colors. We are so glad to hear that the SIL is doing all that therapy and hopefully will start healing now. Take care.
ReplyDeleteOMD what a FABULOUS TREASURE that afghan is. Your Furs and Remington's Furs and spun by Angel Rem's Mom and Crow Shayed by Your Mom. So very Creative and SPECIAL.. not to mention BEAUTIFUL.
ReplyDeleteThat's really a Madi-Remington-Afghan? That's GREAT! I like this idea, but the only one who is a longhaired breed is my mom and I'm afraid she wouldn't donate her fur :o) My paws are still crossed for your SIL, hope he is on the way to recovery.
ReplyDeletegood news about SIL... cutest afghan I have ever seen and Just Right for our Mayor... i still miss Rem
ReplyDeleteWhat a great afghan! Very purrrrrrsonal. We're glad to hear the good news about SIL. They'll push him hard in therapy, but it's soooo worth it.
ReplyDeleteHey Madi!
ReplyDeleteWow, that afghan is an amazing memory! How cool that it's made with fur from you and Remington. That's totally creative and wonderful. My Mom has worn the scarf she got for Oceana's howloween story EVERY DAY since she got it. It's on her coat and she loves it. So happy to hear about SIL and I'm sending more healing vibes to continue the good recovery. :)

ReplyDeleteOh my sweet Angel Remington. I love that, it is so beautiful!! I am crossing paws for SIL and Mommy is praying.
ReplyDeleteLoveys Sasha
Your afghan is beautiful and so special with both your furs and sweet Remington's.
ReplyDeleteAll paws crossed things go well for the SIL and family.
Woos - Phantom, Ciara, and Lightning
If you ever need fur to make tent to cover your house for termite fumigation, Jack will be more than able to provide all the fur. Actually, see if 10 or 20 of your neighbors need the same. Just give him a week to shed enough for the project.
ReplyDeleteSo full of the specialness. We love it
ReplyDeletePibble sugars
The pittie pack
Oh Madi, what a special afghan you have. The combination of your furs and those of Angel Remington must make it even warmer.
ReplyDeleteToday it was 12 degrees with a wind chill of -7, very cold. Mama had to go to the store so she got out her warmest coat and one of the scarves your Mom made. It was so warm and cozy, her neck never got cold. We hopes you don't get this cold at your house.
Way to go SIL!
Purrs,
Cindi Lou & The Kitty Krew
Adam, Georgia and Gloria

ReplyDeleteWe are so glad to hear the news. It sounds like it will take some work but hopefully it will get him better asap!
