I agree with you.... fishing is too much work... and you never will know what you get... probably a bonsai sardine after two hours of endless waiting... and at the end a dad has to remove the hook from a mom's hand and instead to be silent and relaxed they swore like tinkers...
OMC Madi.... you and our dad could be TWINS... Fishing and then letting the BIG ONE... Get away... Guess that is why they call it FISHING and not CATCHING... BUTT We think that you should continue to TRY the Catching Pawt... Dad SWEARS it is Fun.
bring on the canned tuna and a mom to open it... poor Madi, fishing is just to much work for you.. don't tell anyone, but i don't like to fish either.. i prefer hubby to catch them clean them and cook them. same thing as someone opening a can... i am so sorry to see in your header that there are only two bags packed for the trip... no kitty back pack in site
Hey Madi! Wow, great job nabbing that fishie! They're very slick and slippery and like to flop away. I bet you'll get him next time. Meanwhile, the canned stuff is pretty tasty and definitely easier. BOL/MOL BTW: Love your BAR mobile! Grr and Woof, Sarge, Furiend
hahaha, Madi....the last 3 times we've been fishing the ye ol redneck has skunked me. Not a bite, not a nibble. I would have to go hungry except he shared his catch with me.
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. I think fishing is FUN! But yeah, not the optimum way to get dinner.
ReplyDeleteLook at that, a flying fish. You are so right, much easier to get that fish out of a can. You all have a great Monday.
ReplyDeleteSorry the fish got away. Better luck next time.

ReplyDeleteGood Morning, Madi! Fish are like that, more of them get away than on the hook. At least from my experience.
ReplyDeleteYour mom should go fishing and serve it to you on a silver platter!

It's fun taking it nice and easy!
ReplyDeleteBetter luck next time, Madi! We know the feeling. We like having someone else serve it to use instead of having to chase down our own food, too.
ReplyDeleteFish are such slippery rascals, Madi! BOL
ReplyDeleteBut they are tasty! We will have trout tonight in your honor!
Hugs and nose taps,

Sometime catching a ><(((º> can be fun pretty Madi!
ReplyDeleteThat was one elusive fishie! We think fishies out of a can are much better though.
ReplyDeleteIt's the one that got away! That's a famous fish!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
It's always the one that got away! Stick to tuna in the can, Madi. ;)
ReplyDeleteGood idea, Madi. Fishing for play, eating from a can for food! :-)
ReplyDeleteGood idea, why work hard when you can have your servant open a can when you want it.
ReplyDeleteEating stuff from a can is way more efficient.
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer that the fish got away from you, Madi!
ReplyDeletehahaha, Madi....the last 3 times we've been fishing the ye ol redneck has skunked me. Not a bite, not a nibble. I would have to go hungry except he shared his catch with me.
