Remembering on Easy Sunday....

The Twin Towers that mom took in August 1987..when they took my
human sis to NYC for her 16th birthday!
Never in our wildest dreams did we know what a treasure this picture would become.
We would like to say thank you to all the first responders and our Armed Forces for
all they do to protect us and to the families and friends of those who lost their lives on
9/11...they are never forgotten

*******

On Sunday, September 4th, 2016 my peeps took a road trip...
They were  A W A Y for 4 1/2 hours.  The longest A L O N E time I've had
since June 20th the first day of renovatons.
I was purrfectly content to stay home...we don't have a webcam but if we did
this is what you would have seen!!!

Dad drives and mom is the on board DJ
they love their Sirius radio on road trips !!

September 4th was the day after hurry cane Hermine was dumping tons of rain
on NC.  It was a gorgeous day too!!
And every moment they saw lots of pretty things too

  9. So your mom is the AD (assistant driver). Our mom is too. She might say, "Watch out for that bike. This has been an alert courtesy of your assistant driver." Or sometimes, "AD alert to the vehicle on the left." It kinda drives dad nutso butt has been helpful in saving their lives a few times. We are glad they FINALLY came home!

  13. Looks like your peeps had a great road trip!!

Mama grew up taking the view of the Twin Towers for granted when she saw them from NJ, we know what you mean when you say that the pictures takes your words away.

  14. We will never forget 9-11! Even though I wasn't around back then, ghostwriter and Dad are always sad on that day.

The pretty pictures from the road trip look a lot like things around here. On her way to work, ghostwriter passes a water tower and a herd of cows. We've had lots of blue skies and big fluffy clouds too! She would have to skip work and keep driving a little farther to get to see a lake, though.
