We love Saturday Photo Hunt click
here for a list of words
Today's word is....
H A R B O R: sheltered water for ships; give shelter
Our very favorite Harbors in North Carolina are in
Beaufort and Morehead City. Here is a collage
of some of mom's favorite photos from both harbors
and lookie there is one of me in my soft kitty harbor
Our area weather update
10:38 am Sat.
we are expecting 5+ inches of rain.
We are no where near rivers or creeks.
Our neighborhood has underground elec. service
but some of the large cables to transformers for our
elec. grid are not. Hopefully we will keep power
if we disappear that will be why.
Hugs and everyone stay safe.
Harbors are beautiful spots to see pretty boats, peaceful water, and sometimes a kitty in a soft bed (!!!!!!).

ReplyDeleteI love harbors/marinas... all the clanking from the rigging is music to my ears. Glad to know you are and will be okay. Been thinking about you. Your soft kitty bed is safe harbor!
ReplyDeleteJust checking in from Fayetteville at 3:02pm. Very nasty out there. Please stay safe - we're trying to. Our home should stay dry but her poor car....
ReplyDeleteStay safe. Our river is FINALLY going down again, and no rain on the horizon, we think. Matthew must have collected all the rain to dump on you.
ReplyDeleteThose are great pictures of your favorite harbors. We're glad to hear you don't have much worry about Hurricane Matthew but hope you all are staying safe.
ReplyDeleteWe hope all that rain doesn't mess things up around your area.
ReplyDeleteThat is a nice collage. You are expecting a lot of rain. I have never heard of electricity underground, that is nice.
ReplyDeleteWe love YOUR harbor! The other ones make Mom homesick for the east coast. I don't know why the Kansas Ocean isn't enough for her!
ReplyDeleteYours sincerely,
Margaret Thatcher
We hope you are staying dry. We heard that Matthew was pulling away from yous!
