Mom helped me make Dad a card
The front reads, "If I had 2 dead rats, I'd give you one!"
Inside reads, "you are the best cat dad ever!!"
Sissy sent Dad two cans of nuts...that is why he is so nutty!!
He loves any kinda nut, even Sissy. Mol mol that is a little sibling humor.
PSA on MIA
I must apologize for mom being MIA on Saturday. She and Dad got their 2nd
Shingrix (new shingles vaccine) on Friday morning. She had more of a reaction to the 2nd one
than the first one. The shivers and the aches and she was a hot mess and tired. She took lots of
naps and would check the blog every so often.
Dad just had the tiredness.
But at least they have had both required vaccines. OMCs was it hard being a nurse.

ReplyDeleteHappy Father's Day. We hope all the reactions pass quickly. If this helps reinforce your decision, the church mom worked at in Fayetteville had a pastor who got a bad case of shingles. Well over a year before it got better.

I want to do the new shots for the shingles but your reactions are a bit scary... and yes, I know, much better than getting shingles. Was going to do them with our GP but then we up and moved. So, need to find a new GP. Glad to hear that your reaction is calming down. Happy, Happy Father's Day to your Dad, Madi! I know he will have a fabulous day! How did your Mom make that card... it is darling. Bought two cases of Duplin and tried a new one to us yesterday... Cool Blush!

ReplyDeleteyou are a great nurse and so is your sister a great daughter. My dad loved nuts but he loved Little Debbie cakes more. I used to mail him several boxes of them for fathers day. love the cat and the rat card. to funny. I have no had the shingles shot, I don't know if I had chicken pox, and if I did not, will it give me shingles?
