I write this in RED for the Diva
I am very thankful today and always for the compassion and
kindness shown to us after Diva Angel Madi(son) D Cat went over the rainbow bridge.
Special thanks to all of you who stuck with me as I meandered around aimless for
several weeks.
Back in June of 2009, I had no idea how I would speak for Madi. Evidently I was a feline in another life. It was surprisingly easy to translate felinese thoughts and expressions.
Thank you for sticking with me as I became a solo act. I might have been the one with thumbs but Madi(son) D Cat was the brains.
On Monday we rec'd a letter from Wake Co. SPCA informing us that
Hidden Valley Animal Hospital, made a Tribute donation in Madi's name.
This donation is to help shelter animals have a second chance to find a
furever home.
I cannot tell you how THANKFUL and fortunate we were to have such a loving and caring Vet for Madi's entire life. They loved her as much as we did.

Today we join Two SPOILED CATS
Angel Sammy and Teddy for their poetic pictorial poem.
Here is today's inspiration
What the Sea Gull Sees
by Angel Madi
Up high in the sky, the wind beneath my wings I soar.
My eyes peeled on the shore
Looking for fishes, crabbies and so much more
I glide with pride not a worry have I.
Yikes a stop light in the sea Oh me,
It gives me a fright....
Do I halt my flight, go left or go right or turn around
so I don't drown?
Surely this was done by a clown.
Love the poem and the picture that inspired it. Thanks goodness the light was not on green!
ReplyDeleteThat was so sweet of your vet to make a donation in Madi's name.
ReplyDeletethat was such a wonderful idea your vet clinic had... we love your paw em... and we ponder if the mama would be brave enough to drive when the lights are green... my dad said she would... LOL

We love your poem and the picture, angel Madi, and how very thoughtful of Hidden Valley Animal Hospital.
ReplyDeleteWhat a kind gesture from your vet. Everyone loved Madi.
ReplyDeletehahaha, cute poem.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fantastic animal clinic and vet that you had for Madi.
Love makes all the difference when your loved one is receiving good care.
That is so thoughtful of the vet. Dealing with my own huge loss right now, I understand how you feel. I feel my Emma with me, and I know Madi is with you.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a great poem. We all loved Madi and do miss her. Big hugs to the Mom and Dad. And how wonderful for the vet to make that donation. You all have a great day.
ReplyDeletewhat a super duper thing for them to donate to the shelter.. makes my heart happy. love your poem and wow on the photo they found for inspiration...
ReplyDeleteThat was so special of them to make that donation and we're so happy your still hear with your blogging family. Thanks for joining the Thankful Thursday Blog Hop!
ReplyDeleteThat was so nice of your vet!
ReplyDeleteThe seagull poem was great. Around here, the gulls are mostly looking for handouts at the nearest McDonalds parking lot.
Excellent poem, Angel Madi! How wonderful that a contribution to help other animals was made in your name.
ReplyDeleteI think you're finding your way just fine. I'm so happy I found you.
ReplyDeleteI love your poem. I can't write these to save my soul. If they are too deep I don't get them. My literature teacher in college said I was too literal. That's true.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
What a wonderful gesture from your vet - we know how hard they fought to help Madi just as you did and Madi benefited from all the love and care of all of you. She will forever be missed - but I think she is a brilliant poet because her poem today is wonderful. It was a most interesting photo Angel Sammy chose and next week's ought to be FUN. We're glad you and Angel Madi pawticipate in Poetry Day. It's a chance to say things we might not normally say.
ReplyDeleteLove, Teddy
What an incredibly sweet thing to do...all in Madi's name! Awesome!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a wonderful vet for both Madi and you to have.
ReplyDeleteLove that picture...and Angel Madi's poem!

Now that was very clever to write your poem from the point of view of the gull - very nicely done!!!
ReplyDeleteAnd kudos to your vet's place for that kind and wonderful donation.
Woos - Lightning, Misty, and Timber
A very inpressive poem. Mom loves seagulls and this captures the seagull's view.

Madi was loved by all. Great poem. XO
ReplyDeleteI think when we love our furbabies as much as you loved Madi, there is a communication that goes on that nobody hears but us. I enjoyed your poem. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI am so thankful that you stuck with us. It's amazing how our pets are really the brains and bosses behind us. I think that the reality is that they inspire us!!!
ReplyDeleteYour vet was/is very special... but then, so was Madi. Sticking with you and us all sticking together is easy. Madi is loved and so are you. Angel Madi found great words for the poem this week!
ReplyDeleteThat sure was nice of the vet to make a donation in Madi's name. We love your poem. That sure is a silly picture and you captured the thoughts of that seagull perfectly.
ReplyDeleteHow pawsome that your vet did a donation for my special gal. That poem gave me leaky eyes.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Madi's guy Raz
