Below is this week's inspiration
A mom's plea
She screamed at me you will fall
I squealed with glee...FREE
Where are your knee pads and helmet?

ReplyDeleteWe just loved this photo the second we found it in "images"...knew we had to use it for poetry day and it was tons of fun to write about as you well know since yours is ADORABLE. I have scars on my knees from roller skating. I have awful balance which is why I was lucky not to break my neck when I tried skiing!!! Thanks for having fun with us on Thursdays!!

ReplyDeleteKnee pads and helmets? Back in the day, I rode my bike and climbed trees and jumped over fences and ice skated and roller skated and went sledding down the side of the reservoir without those things. I even went swimming in the lower Niagara gorge not far from the whirlpool! And look, I survived!!! Woooohooo!
ReplyDeleteWe never wore protective gear to skate, and neither did my kids. I guess that's why we all have scars on our knees!
