Wordless Wednesday Photos State Fair

Tractors for girls
I don't know this little girl but she was so excited.
I bet Dad will be buying her a toy tractor PINK of course

and boys

You know me and lighthouses and reflections!!!
This is obviously a replica of the real Cape Hatteras Lighthouse on the NC Coast
In 2015 we took a tour to see all the NC Lighthouses click here if you are interested
This lake is located on the back side of the fair grounds
The platform you see to the right is where the nightly fireworks display is held.
So pretty and I love how I (some how captured a pink hue in the clouds)

All the rides are so colorful!!!
Yep those folks are upside down..but I will say they are in a cage.
LOL

Saturday October 26, I teased you with one photo of the ginormous Ferris Wheel at the
NC State Fair.  It is 15 stories high, supposedly the highest traveling one
in the United States.  Here are several angles.
Several asked why I didn't ride it?  I do not like heights especially on rides when they stop you at the top and is swings.
All Ferris Wheels stop and start letting passengers on and off.  Can't do that.
The photos against the cloudy sky were rather dramatic

All the seats have a cage around them...

  3. Pink tractor - never seen one of THOSE before! Glad all the rides have cages around the riders - so many accidents these days! Looks like a fun fair.

He wants one like the big red one. Cab air. Hahaha, he'll have to keep wanting for a while.

  7. Our mom wants to trade in our tractor for a pink one now. Especially since she is the one that uses it to mow the lawn. There sure is lots of interesting things to see at the fair.

I am both fascinated and horrified by those rides...9~) They make great photographic subjects, but you wouldn't find me lining up. The tractors, though... now that's my kinda ride!!! YAM xx

  9. I love the reflection shots too. Always have.

I'm not riding on any of those rides and especially the Ferris Wheel. That's way to high and I hate the stopping and starting when you're at or near the top.

Thank you for joining the Wordless Wednesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Wordless Wednesday. Big hug. ♥

  10. Egads, I don't like heights either...when having to drive across a bridge, I keep my eyes glued to the far end, so I won't look over the side...

  17. I can tell you here and now. I will NOT ride the ferris wheel any more. I detested it as a child and still do for the same reasons you have. And *I* am a PILOT! You would think I would be over that after learning to fly, but no. Of corse there was no cage around it. Just a simple bar across the seat. The rocking was too much for me.

  25. No way would you get me on the Ferris wheel! I went weak at the knees just looking at it. That is a cute little pink tractor. I can't really see Ivor driving it though LOL! He is a Case International man.

  26. I love lighthouses too! I don’t get on any ride that goes up in the air or roller coasters. All fair rides are kind of sketchy when you see the “pit crew”. LOL!
