Symmetry Saturday: Umstead State Park

I'm pleased to say William B. Umstead State Park is about 5 miles from our front door.
We went out there to see the fall colors...
Most of leaves had 'turned' loose not 'turned' colors

foot bridge before the 'natural trail'.

Bridge and its reflection...I absolutely love this photo.

This trail was the most colorful...more sun there

Canoes in 'dry dock' til Spring

Same trail from the other side of the lake.

Ironically, on the way home we came in the back of our neighborhood.
We saw this gorgeous tree with the sun peeping thru the leaves of gold

  11. your leaves of gold are much like my house of gold yesterday... that is great you are so close to the state park. we used to hit all the state parks, we have 5 that are within 10 to 12 miles of us, but Bob can't walk any more and refuses to go have his knee looked at, so no more parks..

So let me reword that: Thnx for the treat! But yeah Thnkx for spending the time to discuss this, I feel strongly about it and love reading more on this topic. If possible, as you become expertise, would you mind updating your blog with more details? It is highly helpful for me. Big thumb up for this blog post!
