Happy Tuesday KAT...cat Tale!!!

Dad of Angel Madi's sincerely thanks you all for your birthday wishes yesterday
Well friends I have an interesting Kat tale from my Nephew KAT.
First of all he wants me to tell EVERYBUDDY no cat or human was injured in this feline fiasco..

Sit back friends and be prepared to be
WOW'd
******************************************************

Dearest Aunty HiC

Hidey ho friends Oh how I have missed you!!! However, in true FELINE Fashion
I am back with a Tale to beat all Tales!!!

It seems, quite unintentionally, I gave my Mom and Dad way too much excitement Sunday, April 26th

I’ve had my excitement for the day.
I for reason, known only to me, decided to slip out door. They saw this streak of greased lightning run passed them and  up a tree!
Mom tried to catch this fleeing feline.

Dad attempted to get me to come down with a  ladder.   I told him ladders are for sissies not Fearless Felines.
This feline was feeling frisky and guess what?

 I  went higher.

Mom and Dad finally sat down and waited..and waited...and waited. Till my curiosity had been satisfied.
I came down, ran right to front door, and ran in when Mom opened it...
That is my story and I'm sticking to it, only I know why I did it

 BUT
I will say I learned that home is the best place to be!

Guess What my loving mom did?
She put  huge signs on all the doors to outside that have one word on them!!!

KAT
I guess that is to remind them to look before the leave

Dearest Aunty HiC
Please tell everyone we miss them, and we want everyone to stay well...
We are all well here!   We just miss our lives being normal and carefree like they were when we were in our Wheelie house.
We Love you, Aunty HiC!!!
❤️ Kat, Pup, and Kit

Pup:  Kat why are you twitching and moving so much
Kat: Pup I had weird dream about being stuck up a tree
Pup:  Dude that was no dream, you were and you scared Mom and Dad
Don't do it again
Kat: Yikes, my sinister evil alter ego must be squashed!

  1. oh how good that you came down... to call da firefighters this time is a challenge we bet... in old times they were happy for a beer as a thank you, not sure if they have still the same price LOL

  2. Hari OM
OMC, Kat - that was skeery even reading it. And reminded me very much of a similar episode with my Angel Jasper! So glad you are safe.

It is just wonderful that you got your big tour out of the way before all the viral caper; some fine memories to sustain you whilst in lockdown. Pawhaps your burst to the tree was a protest??? Hugs and whiskeries, YAM-aunty xxx

  3. It was scary for your people, Kat, but I have to applaud you. Flynn was a champion tree climber and used to try and scare me by going right to the top and out onto the flimsiest looking branches. He could come back down almost as fast as he went up.

  5. Oh dearie me. My brother Angel Sammy once climbed WAY WAY WAY up in a BIG BIG tree once when he was a wee cat and my Dad had to get out the big ladder and climb WAY WAY WAY up and rescue him as he was screaming "Help I can't get down!".........Dad tucked Sammy in his leather jacket (this was winter of course) and down they came. Sammy never climbed a tree again. Lesson learned.

    Hugs, Teddy

  6. Well Kat, I have a different perspective on this story. I am just so green with envy at how you kitties climb up trees so easily. How I would love to be able to do this.
    Toodle pip!

  7. Happy Birthday to Angel Madi's Dad. I am sorry I missed it yesterday but I took a couple, maybe 3 days off from the internet. Kat I am happy you made it back down and decided home inside was the place to be. ZCat tried that once and that was enough for all of us.

  8. I have seen Bob climb up and down a ladder like that when it was leaned against the barn. Kat, you probably scared Mom and Dad a good one.

  10. Oh noes! Kat, we follow several rescue groups, that climb trees to save kitties who are stuck up there!
You do NOT want to get stuck, but we understand your curiosity.
Just keep it on the ground from now on, okay?

  11. At least it's a happy ending. That's frightening for sure. Ladders are for humans, not cats.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug to Auntie Cecilia. ♥

  12. OMD, what an adventure!! I don't think I could climb a tree like that, but we don't have any tall ones anyway.

  13. Wow! Kat sure got real high up in that tree. We're glad he came down and went straight inside when he had enough of sitting in the tree. It's good to hear that he and his family are doing well.

  14. My goodness Kat, you sure were way, way up there! I'm glad you finally decided to head back inside, that must have been a relief to your Mom and Dad.

  19. Kat, we hope you get all that friskiness out of your system. When our neighbors first moved in here, one of their cats foolishly decided to come in our yards. We set him right about THAT, and he bolted over the fence and up a tree. He was up there so long that the Dad got out a big ladder and brought him down: Good thing he didn't go any higher or they would have had to call for a hook and ladder fire truck:)
