  1. It's been YEARS since I saw a mallard! I'm not entirely sure why, maybe it's the green, but I've always been especially fascinated by them.

  2. we love them!!! but not if they jump up behind us and fly away with a scary noise hahahaha... the dad landed on da butt with shock and the mama jumped up in the air, as mr. mallard yelled & disappeared... and the fearless hunters were on the way back to the car in a a wild stampede...

  10. What a nice birdie! We're keeping a look-out for ducks. They usually make a stop near our yard every year at this time before flying over to the pond on the other side of the neighborhood.

  15. We have been hearing and seeing a lot of ducks since they put water in the irrigation canal. Soon there will be little duckings!!
