Awww Monday Trekking with Animals

Hosted by Comdey Plus

Saturday December 12, we took a trekked around a section of

Raleigh called Historic Oakwood

Homes in the oldest part of the area are from the Victorian age
Many have been restore to their glory. All of the architecture is amazing.

They have a candlelight tour that started Dec 12-27, 2020; however,
we went during the day. For the next week or so I'll show several views of the homes including the one above that was at the start of the tour.
While we were trekking we saw lots of pups who asked their
peeps to take them on the trek too.

Today the first house in the tour that delighted My Mind's Eye
was this one. I think they all had themes some were obvious other subtle
This Theme is
BEARS
Each bear was dressed festively and they were every where.
I hope they take the bears in at night...
The horse hitch in the bottom right was especially eye catching

  7. That looks like a fun place to tour. We have a similar place and up until the Covid Christmas they had horse drawn carriage rides at night and it was really very pretty.

  15. So beautiful. Mom LOVES Victorian houses. Around the corner from our development there is one long street that has all newly built Victorian-style homes. There isn't one on the street that Mom wouldn't love to live in.
