Wonderful! Dad says when he and mom spent months and months house-hunting in Wilmington they found a couple like these that would be perfect had they not been is such sad disrepair ( like, waaaay more than what dad wanted to do). He also says he'd give a body part to own a house like the one in your previous post, and two body parts if it was haunted!
Yay, more pretty homes, thank you! Reminding me of the "painted ladies" of ... oops, now am forgetting, is it San Fran or Seattle. (oh when that short term mem loss kicks in ...)
We have quite a few of old homes like this in our area, but many have enclosed their front porches...that's sacrilege to me! Without a porch, we wouldn't have discovered our feral cats, and they have become an important part of our lives.
Please leave a meow or bark for Angel Madi...her assistant (aka Mom) will respond in a timely fashion. =^..^= Life is short, spend it with those who make you laugh “Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow, it only saps today of its joy.” (Leo F. Love the Victorian's! They have so much detail and character.
ReplyDeleteWe have some Victorian homes (very few) in our super small town but they just SCREAM with character and look fabulous in their Christmas finery!

Those kinds of houses look very familiar to us. There are lots of them in the older parts of the City.
ReplyDeleteThese remind me of the historic homes in 4th Ward in the heart of Charlotte. Gorgeous awesome homes, every one.
