Happy Tasty Tuesday puppy tails

In this time of doing 'nuttin', we have started going to Wegmans on
Monday or Tuesday as an Outing, yes we are easily entertained.!!
Last week, we were delighted to happen upon a freshly (still warm) baked
loaf of Orange Cranberry Bread. when we arrived home we each had a slice with coffee.
What a treat!!!
We also decided to treat ourselves to some Egg Nog.
Neither of us have had any IN YEARS.
Upstate Farms has 2 flavors original and Premium.
Original is very good so I expect we'll be forced into trying Premium soon.

  2. That cranberry bread looks good. I had Advocaat once which I think is very similar to egg nog but didn't like it.

  3. Yum for both! I try to stay away from buying eggnog this time of year. It's sooooo addicting!

  4. That's is funny about making Wegman's an outing. I can't stay away from Publix. I just want to cruise around in there and check out FOOD. We went yesterday and checked out bakery and deli! I like the whole idea of eggnog but we can't get into it. The orange cranberry bread sounds delicious!

  5. Wegmans here is an EXPERIENCE....it's more like a football stadium sized food palace. Mom says she can get lost in there but likes to go once in a while anyway. They have EVERYTHING in EVERY size and shape and the bakery stuff is amazing. Glad you enjoyed that fresh bread and eggnog. Mom gets eggnog every year - she and Dad love it.

  7. You know I can't say enough good things about Wegmans but when you've lived with it all your life it's not such a special experience. I do say that if I ever moved away from this area I would miss Wegmans the most. Glad you enjoyed the eggnog from the Upstate Farms which is here in western New York.

  9. Put on a pot of coffee and I'll be over for a slice of that bread. Yummy. You can have my egg nog. Never acquired a taste for it.

Thank you for joining the Happy Tuesday Blog Hop.

Have a fabulous Happy Tuesday. Big hug, honey. ♥

  10. I can't remember the last time I had eggnog I know it's been more than four years because I've been on the sugar-free diet for 4 years in January and we both love it. Pet cranberry bread sounds good to the free meal that we got for Thanksgiving included Publix orange cranberry relish and it was absolutely delicious so I bet the bread is just as good

  11. I think of eggnog as an alcoholic drink (sometimes highly alcoholic!) but I'm guessing that's not the case with the brands shown here?
    Cheers, Gail.

  13. Good thing there is no Wegmans near us. We have McMynns which does make excellent Orage Cranberry loaf and we can get Jersyland Organic Egg Nog (Local dairy) which is to die for...I foress a trip to McMynns before lunch...

  14. Now you have made Mom hungry for both. That bread looks yummy. Maybe she can find a recipe for that!!! And she loves eggnog but Dad doesn't. So she would have it all to herself (not a bad thing, right?).
